Siri dearest,

Sirikaan~
You must forgive the hastiness of this letter, but I have some good news for a change! Let me tell you quickly before I forget what else I have to tell you.

I've told you that Tre'lis has been training me in secret in many different things, including hacking. Of course, no one can know of my extra training, so I've had to maintain the façade that I'm still as incompetent as I was before…and hence, I've had little time to look into the promises I've made to you. But after such a long wait, I've finally found something! One of our problems, at least, has been solved. Granted, with solving one problem new troubles arise, but I'm getting ahead of myself.

In my hacking, I've stumbled across the medical files that no one but the top people are supposed to know about. And now, I know about them too, only I don't know much. The in-depth programs are well concealed.

The point I am getting to is this: the poison that Admiral has used on our family is standard issue medical treatment! Granted, it would seem that he overdosed the family, but hopefully we can still save them. I checked the records and about the time you sent world of the poisoning, a large dosage of the medication suddenly went missing, and the Admiral had been logged in to the lab recently.

According to the records, this poison is used to sedate the beserker genes in some of the more violent captives the mercenaries take in. I suppose it cancels out the madness and makes the captives easy to deal with. Used on a normal human, however, it seems to invoke the insanity. This sounds much like what happened to the family. Of course this is all very hush-hush, and the technique is only used on the very secret missions, but there are no records I discovered on anyone actually dying from the treatment. This suggests to me that there is a cure. Sure enough, I found files that mentioned various ingredients that don't usually go together.

Fenral Dew
Vespan Extract
Tanivini

I'll continue to look for more information, but I have very little time between my midnight training and regular duties. I'm not sure if I can find the ingredients. When you're feeling well, please try to see if you can get your hands on the ingredients mentioned. I'll send more information when I get it.

Forgive me, dear Siri, but I must end this letter in as much haste as I started it. I need my rest, and if I am not up to full par in the morning, Ander will surely punish me again.

All my love,
Jemma
