Disclaimer: Yes, many of these shorts are direct rip-offs of other stories or scenes in shows. I do that. It's so that I can get the idea out of my head and start fresh with something completely mine. Or about as mine as anything can get. Some of these shorts are original, like the ones from my dreams, but many are from a movie or a show or a book that I read. If I wrote a short about it, it means that I found the piece intoxicating and haunting. I need to write these scenes in my own style so that I can get them out of my head and work with new material. So don't complain to me if they are like something you've read or seen elsewere. I'm very much aware of that fact. Thank you.

The Painter
I was watching Stephen Sondheim's "Sunday in the Park with George". This scene struck me as particularly powerful. I had to write my own version of it. Slight tweaks here and there, but I just love the imagery in this story.

Two Bodies
Caroline Stevermer's College of Magics. That book quickly became one of my favorites, as I'm such an addict for romance. I cried three times for that book, all at the end, and mostly because of the entire plot revolving through this short.

Kisses in the Dark **Won 2nd place in school literary arts contest**
This is an original. My very first (or perhaps just my most memorable) first kiss dream. I love first-kiss dreams, they make me feel so wonderful. Maybe someday I'll write up some of my other dreams, but I need to flush them out more. Until then, enjoy this little dream-sequence.

The Thief
A really short story that later inspired "Stolen Enchantments" into being.

Ghost
It is said that every theatre has it's ghost that haunts it and makes sure that shows go well (or don't go well, if people say things they shouldn't be saying). At my school, our ghost is a boy who fell from the cats when the school was built. Various people have seen him during performances, and all sorts of stories circulate and keep the actors on their toes. His name is Edwin. This short is about me, before the first time I saw him.

Of Two Worlds - Side Sketch
When OTW was still very fresh in the making, I was watching a lot of Fushigi Yuugi. This is a scene that was particularly heart-wrenching, and I really wanted my characters to go through something similar. Voila, instant copy-short.

A Deep, Sweet and Painful Thrill
Yes, I am in love with romance. And often it gets me down, but I don't always mind it. This is a short I wrote when I was feeling blue after reading a romance novel.

Surprise, Aphrodite
The shock of first romance. This is my dream love, how I hope my life goes. Written at the same time as the above story, only written with more hope, I think.

A Walk Home
I had a crush on this guy, and I really wanted to get to know him and be better friends. So I wrote this from what I dreamed his response would be. (But nothing ever happened with that romance, per usual)
