Cold

Jupiter sneezed violently and sniffled miserably. "Oh, my head!" she groaned, even though the words were quite unintelligible, even to her own ears.

The smooth chest beneath her shuddered from a cough before stilling. "Remind me never to suggest skating again."

Jupiter looked at him puzzled. "What, Nephrite?" she croaked through her sore throat that felt like it was made of sand-paper instead of flesh. She couldn't understand a word he was saying and she doubt he could understand her any better.

"You're beautiful," Nephrite grinned through a running nose and a hacking cough.

Somehow, after several repeats and the two of them finally resorting to pen and paper, they were able to communicate somewhat decently.

You're beautiful. I love you. Let's never go skating again! Nephrite scribbled to her.

I'm feverish. I'm runny. I love you. And we're skating on better ice, next time. She wrote back.

No! Nephrite scrabbled and voiced incoherently, pointing at skating frantically and scratching it out several times.

Yes! Jupiter wrote back stubbornly and wrote skating a few more times.

"Are you two done passing notes yet?" Venus asked bemusedly from the doorway. The two occupants froze as a amused Mercury stepped in after the blonde.

"Medicine," Mercury explained to the shocked and embarrassed faces of the two people before them, pointing to the bottle in her hand innocently. "Next time, attempt not to try out thin ice to skate on without me around." The blue-haired senshi advised dryly.

"It's just a terribly round-about way to get into bed naked together." Venus added teasingly.

The couple blinked at the blonde owlishly. Jupiter turned bright red and Nephrite looked as if he was getting an on-coming headache. Finally, the Shitennou turned to the Senshi sprawled on his lap and wrote one simple word to her.

No. Nephrite wrote to Jupiter, stubbornly. With one fluid movement, he scratched out all the skating she wrote up to that point.

"No," Jupiter gurgled an incoherent and tired agreement as they both sniffled in unison.
